Stainless Steel Snorkel Silencer
The outer of the pipe is constructed to be a water diverter; the water diverter uses the intake air pressure within the snorkel to create a downwards motion. 98% of the water is forced to the walls and forced downwards into the water diverter and out of the opening with a one way duck bill valve on it.
The inner of the construction is a mix of different muffler packing and perforated tubing making the inner 2.5 inches wide to create a muffler effect to lesson the decibels of the snorkel.
WHATS IS IT USED FOR?
Our water diverter is made to relieve the amount of water getting to your airbox whilst also minimising the amount of amplified engine induction sound that resinates through the stainless steel snorkel.
HOW IT WORKS STATIONARY
DUCK BILL VALVE: Your car runs off positive pressure and zero pressure, when your car is on you have a positive pressure which means the valve is open which allows the water to be released via duck bill valve. When your car is off the duck bill is closed but as it is made of silicone, water will still be able to push it's way through the opening. The shape of the duckbill valve makes water unable to enter back through the valve opening if submerged.

WHERE DOES IT FIT?
The silencer fits inside the inner guard between the snorkel and airbox, replacing the straight pipe section.
