    PPD Replacement Dump & Exhaust Pipes – Ford Ranger / Mazda BT-50 3.2L Turbo Diesel (2011–2016) – Pre-DPF Models

    ONLY SUITS PPD EXHAUST SYSTEMS – WILL NOT BOLT TO FACTORY SYSTEMS

    These are individual replacement parts for the PPD Performance 3" stainless turbo-back exhaust system designed to suit the 2011–2016 Ford Ranger PX / PXII and Mazda BT-50 3.2L Turbo Diesel (Pre-DPF).

    Please review the photos and select the required pipe(s) individually. Options are available for dump pipes with or without high-flow catalytic converters, as well as resonated or straight-through mid-sections. These components are ideal for repairs, sound adjustment, or emissions tuning within your existing PPD system.

    Which version do I need?

    Catalytic Converter Options:

    • High Flow: Required for road legality. Slightly quieter, reduces soot/emissions, maintains an aggressive tone. Recommended.
    • None: Off-road use only. Full 3" straight-through setup for maximum flow and noise.

    Resonator Options:

    • Resonated: High-flow muffler design to reduce cabin drone. Still aggressive under acceleration. Strongly recommended.
    • None: Loudest and highest flowing configuration.

    NOTE: These parts are not universal. Only compatible with PPD Performance 3" turbo-back systems for PX/PXII Ranger and BT-50 3.2L Pre-DPF models.

    Mandrel Bent Piping

    PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

    304 Grade Stainless Steel

    Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.

    Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain

    The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.

    Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.

    Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.

    Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.

    Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.

    Bolt on installation

    All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
