The EGR GEN3 Canopy Crossbar Kit – SM is engineered to give your vehicle a dependable and versatile roof-carrying solution, perfect for owners who want to maximise the functionality of their EGR Gen3 Canopy. This kit is designed to suit popular models including the Ford Ranger PX (2011–2021), Nissan Navara 2021-onwards, Volkswagen Amarok NF 2023-onwards, and Toyota Hilux 2015–2026, offering broad compatibility and long-term durability.

Each kit pairs Yakima TrimHD Crossbars with EGR’s precision-built staggered height leg system, creating a strong, level platform across the top of your canopy. This flat deck design makes it easy to mount a wide range of gear like recovery tools, roof pods, bikes, ladders, camping equipment, and work essentials.

The system is designed for simple DIY installation, generally completed in around one hour, with no specialist tools required. Out of the box, the kit supports an 80 kg dynamic load rating, providing reliable strength for everyday and weekend use. For heavier setups, adding the EGR Internal Support Kit increases the dynamic rating to 150 kg, making it suitable for more demanding loads.

Can I fit these racks to any Canopy?

Possibly, however these are designed arounf the roof tracks and heights of the EGR GEN3 Canopy.

Can I use different Crossbars?

You can. Simply do not use the Yakima TrimHD Adapter Plate within the kit and attach the EGR Leg to the brand of leg you prefer.

What is the load rating of these Canopy Racks

Adding just the Crossbar Kit to your Canopy roof gives you a dynamic load rating of 80kg. To increase that rating to 150kg, option the EGR GEN3 Canopy Internal Support Kit.
