Is there an emergency release to open the tonneau in the case of an emergency?

Every EGR Hard Lid comes with a glow in the dark emergency release handle in the event that someone is trapped inside. To operate all you do is pull the emergency release handle, which will unhook the latches and allow the Hard Lid to lift open.

How much extra space will I now get in the back of my tub?

The EGR Hard Lid is designed to sit on top of the vehicle's tub and does not give any extra space.

Will the EGR Hard Lid suit my extended sports bar?

Unfortunately, the EGR Hard Lid does not suit the extended sports bars.

How hard is it to remove the EGR Hard Lid if I want to put my Dirt Bike in the back of the tub?

To remove the EGR Hard Lid is as simple as unclipping the gas struts, and removing the hinge pins. Then with a second person all you have to do is lift the Hard Lid off your vehicle.

Does my EGR Hard Lid come with remote locking?

The EGR Hard Lid does not come with remote locking, it is however available as an optional extra.

Once I have an EGR Hard Lid installed, will this keep out the dust on long trips?

The EGR Hard Lid is designed to create a seal off the top of the vehicle tub. The most common place for dust to get in the tub is through the tailgate. EGR does offer another product which is our EGR Dust Defender. This product creates a seal about your vehicle's tail gate to limit the amount of dust that can get sucked into your tub via the tailgate gaps.

Does the Hard Lid have an emergency release when closed?

If the Hard Lid is closed and the tailgate is shut, you will not have access to the emergency release. You will need to open the tailgate to gain access to the emergency release.
