FAQs
Can I get remote locking for my canopy, so I do not need to use the key provided?
Yes EGR does offer remote locking for premium canopies. The remote lock however is only for the rear door. The side windows will still need to be operated manually.
If I install the 150kg heavy duty roof racks, how much space do I lose inside the canopy?
EGR's 150kg Heavy Duty Support Bars for the Roof Racks are designed to take up the smallest amount of space possible. The support bars sit as tightly into the corners as possible, so you do not notice any space that maybe lost.
Once I have an EGR Canopy installed, will this keep out the dust on long trips?
The EGR Canopy is designed to create a seal off the top of the vehicle tub. The most common place for dust to get in the tub is through the tail gate. EGR does off another product which is our EGR Dust Defender. This product creates a seal about your vehicles tail gate to limit the amount of dust that can get sucked into your tub via the tailgate gaps. We also offer the EGR Pressure Vent. This vent is installed in the top of the canopy which allows airflow to come in from the top of the canopy. This creates a positive pressure against the tail gate to help minimise the amount of dust that gets sucked in by negative pressure.
