3" Stainless Steel DPF Delete Exhaust Upgrade for 2016+ Ford Ranger Ute
Problems with the Ford Ranger Diesel Particulate Filter are well documented. The Ranger runs an active DPF system that traps harmful diesel particulates in a honey comb structure, and then burns them off as the DPF flow is reduced. In the Ranger, often the soot left behind after the burn cycle can build up and cause a permanent blockage and failure
Signs your DPF is failing include reduced engine performance, higher fuel consumption along with more frequent burn cycles.
Remove your DPF, and upgrade the performance of your Ranger today with a full stainless steel PPD Performance system.
Replace the restrictive factory exhaust system with this brand new PPD Performance polished stainless steel upgrade.
Specifically designed for the Ford Ranger Ute: PX2 & PX3 3.2L Turbo Diesel (October 2016-onwards), this 3" stainless system unleashes the performance and sound that they should have had from the factory!
In October 2016, Ford added a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to the Ranger. These are prone to failure and significantly restrict performance.

These are a proven design producing fantastic sound and performance upgrades on the Ford Ranger Ute PX2 3.2L (October 2016 onwards).
Note: An ECU map is recommended when deleting your DPF.
We must advise that DPF's are an emissions device and therefore we can only recommend a DPF delete kit be fitted for off-road vehicles..
At PPD Performance, all of our exhausts proudly feature:
Mandrel Bent Piping
PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.
304 Grade Stainless Steel
Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between 409 grade stainless steel and 304 stainless steel and many customers are fooled into an inferior product
Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain
The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. It is 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.
PPD Performance exclusively uses 304 grade stainless steel for performance exhausts because of its strength and the fact it is impervious to rusting, because it has around 20% chromium and 10% nickel content in the alloy. However, because of its low ferrous content, it can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.
Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the highest quality material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.
PPD Performance exhausts are exclusively constructed from high quality 304 grade stainless steel. Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.
Together with a polished finish - it is the best choice for your 4x4 offering unrivaled corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.
Bolt on Installation
All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
All PPD Performance exhaust systems include a fitting kit comprising of all required bolts, gaskets and clamps.
At PPD Performance, we understand you need peace of mind. All PPD Performance exhaust systems are covered by a confidence inspiring 2 year warranty.
