Upgrading to aftermarket raised springs is particularly beneficial for vehicles equipped with additional accessories, heavily laden vehicles, and those requiring enhanced load-carrying capabilities and increased ground clearance. All King Springs heavy-duty replacement springs are designed to provide an uprated performance. The degree of uprating typically ranges from 20% to 40%, depending on the specific vehicle model.

When selecting the appropriate spring rate, it is essential to consider the fixed accessories on the vehicle. For example, the KFFR 24FX4 spring offers an approximate lift height of 20-25mm and is designed for vehicles with a steel bar weighing between 50-100kg. It is important to note that this spring is not recommended for standard applications, as the lift height may be excessive, resulting in minimal droop travel. Therefore, it is advisable to pair these raised springs with long travel shocks to ensure optimal performance.
