The Powerlink ECU Remapper lets our tuners tune your PX1 Ford Ranger 3.2L from our workshop while you stay at home. Plug it in, read your ECU with your phone, and we send back a tune built for your car. A PPD tune lifts the 3.2L turbo-diesel's power by around 15% (30hp) and torque by around 17% (80Nm) across a broad rev range, while keeping fuel economy in check. It suits utes that labour when towing, struggle to hold momentum off-road, or simply feel slow and laggy on the road.
Suits the PX1 Ford Ranger 3.2L five-cylinder turbo-diesel (2011-2015). The PX2 and PX3 Ranger 3.2L have their own listing, which offers our EGR cooler delete kit instead of these blanking plates, and the 2.2L Ranger has its own remapper listing. We do not currently remote-tune vehicles with a Stage 2 or larger turbo upgrade. If you are unsure, contact our team with your VIN before ordering.
Choose the remapper with EGR blanking plates for an extra $26. The two plates block off the EGR system on the PX1 3.2L, which stops sooty exhaust gas being fed back into the intake. Because the plates come with the remapper, we build your tune with the EGR turned off to suit them, so the engine does not log an EGR fault or turn on the check engine light.
Want a hardcut limiter in your tune? Choose the Hardcut Limiter option for an extra $300. Please note: a hardcut limiter gives no power or performance gain, adds strain on the engine and turbocharger, and can shorten their life if used often. It is fitted at the owner's own risk.
Please note: a phone is not included. You use your own iPhone or Android phone to read and write the ECU.
PPD Performance supplies ECU tuning, EGR and DPF solutions for Australia's most popular diesel 4WDs and utes. Order online for fast shipping Australia-wide, or if you are in Perth, contact our Bibra Lake team to have your Ranger tuned in person.
Turning off the EGR, DPF or other emission control equipment is for off-road and competition use only. It is not legal on a road-registered vehicle.
