These heavy-duty upper control arms are built for IFS vehicles lifted 30mm or more, helping restore the camber and caster lost after a suspension lift by correcting the ball joint angle. Without this correction, lifted IFS vehicles can experience excessive tyre wear along with ride and steering issues.

The Blackhawk design focuses on ease of fitment and ongoing serviceability, with a greater radius and tube sizing to improve clearance during articulation. The outer radius is also shaped to better accommodate larger tyres, helping reduce the risk of tyre rubbing on the arms at full lock. Full suspension cycling is performed during fitment development to determine clearances at maximum droop and bump across a range of wheel and tyre combinations.

Most applications in the Blackhawk upper control arm range are designed with 3 degrees of fixed caster and are optimally suited to 30–70mm lifts. They are finished in black e-coating for durability, rust prevention, and a discreet appearance.
