3" Stainless Steel Turbo-Back Performance Exhaust & Tune Package for the Mitsubishi Triton MN (2010-2015) 2.5L Turbo Diesel
Is your Triton 2.5 laboring towing heavy loads? Is maintaining momentum off-road an issue ? Or perhaps you just find your car sluggish and laggy on the road. Transform the performance of your MN Triton today, improve the power and torque of your 2.5 turbo-diesel by 17% (32hp) and 15% (60nm) across a broad RPM range, while optimising your fuel economy.
The PPD Performance ECU Remapper is your complete engine ECU re-calibration and optimisation solution, distributed Australia wide, direct to your door. Now there's no need to disconnect and post your ECU, or spend thousands on a custom chip solution that deliver inferior results.
Each tune is configured to Australian conditions, your requirements and any vehicle modifications such as EGR removal, DPF delete and Ad-blue removal. Our re-mappers are shipped to your door, and will optimise your ECU configuration by adjusting various parameters within the map such as fuel pressure, boost pressure, injector timing and throttle pedal control a to release the true performance from the engine, resulting in a truly transformational driving experience without sacrificing reliability.
Our remap process is complete in three simple steps
Connect the PPD Performance Remapper to the vehicles diagnostic socket and follow the on-screen instructions to read the original file
Email the standard file to PPD Performance. We then utilise specialist software, systems and industry proven ECU remapping experts to optimise the performance of your vehicle without needing a chip upgrade.
You will receive the tuned file into your email, which you can then use the Remapper software to upload to your Remapper, reconnect to the diagnostic socket and follow the on-screen instructions to write your tuned file.
The touch screen unit provides an intuitive step-by-step process to help you easily and confidently complete the remapping process, with full Australian based support on hand if required.
PPD Performance ECU Remapper, Australia's most innovative and convenient ECU optimisaton option.
PLEASE NOTE: REQUIRES A PC TO SEND THE FILE TO US, WILL NOT WORK ON A MAC
NOTE: IF DISABLING OF THE EGR IS REQUESTED, THE EGR PLUG MUST ALSO BE DISCONNECTED. DISABLING THE EGR SYSTEMIS STRICTLY FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY

Mandrel Bent Piping
PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.
304 Grade Stainless Steel
Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.
Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain
The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.
Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.
Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.
Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.
Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.
Bolt on installation
All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
