Mitsubishi Triton MV PreLine-Plus Diesel Pre-Filter & ProVent Ultimate Catch Can Combo Kit – PLPV652DPC

Designed and engineered in Australia, the Direction-Plus™ PreLine-Plus Pre-Filter combined with the ProVent Ultimate Catch Can Kit offers superior diesel engine protection for Mitsubishi Triton MV 4N16 (2.4L 4-cylinder) models from 2024 onwards.

    Ultimate Diesel Engine Protection

This dual kit is your first line of defense against water contamination, fuel system corrosion, and oil vapour build-up. The PreLine-Plus pre-filter system delivers 100% water separation efficiency, protecting your high-pressure diesel injection system from corrosion and abrasion, while reducing costly repairs. Equipped with an advanced multi-stage water alert, it notifies you visually and audibly if water is detected—eliminating the need for manual checks.

    ProVent Ultimate Catch Can Benefits

The ProVent Ultimate Catch Can efficiently separates and redirects oil and air from blow-by gases in your engine’s crankcase ventilation system. This reduces harmful oil vapour entering your intake, preventing carbon build-up on valves and turbocharger damage. With up to 98% oil separation efficiency, it helps maintain engine performance, reduces exhaust smoke, and regulates crankcase pressure, ultimately saving you money on repairs.

    Key Features & Benefits:

    • Compatible with Mitsubishi Triton MV 4N16 (2.4L) diesel engines, 2024–2025 models

    • 100% water separation efficiency by PreLine-Plus (based on 300μm droplet size)

    • Multi-stage water alert system (visual and audible) for fuel contamination

    • 98% particle separation (based on 30 micron particles)

    • ProVent Catch Can prevents oil and soot contamination in the intake system

    • Protects turbocharger and prevents oil buildup in intercoolers

    • Minimises oil consumption* and regulates crankcase pressure

    • Durable spin-on filter design for easy servicing

    • Australian engineered for tough conditions and reliable performance

At PPD Performance, all of our exhausts proudly feature:

    Mandrel Bent Piping

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

    304 Grade Stainless Steel

Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain

The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.

Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.

Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.

Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.

Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.

    Bolt on installation

All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
