These leaf springs are precision mandrel and die-formed, oil quenched, hardened, and tempered to ensure longevity. A military wrap is standard across all part numbers, and each spring is accurately heat-treated to enhance performance. Constructed from high-grade spring steel, many applications feature anti-friction pads to reduce wear and improve efficiency.

Each spring is pre-stressed to maintain optimal ride height and is rigorously load rate tested to ensure reliability. If your vehicle is equipped with additional accessories, Tough Dog offers various spring rates to accommodate constant load scenarios.

Approximate raised height achieved with these springs is between 20-25mm, with specific models catering to different load capacities: FS123C for 0-300kg light load, FS123L for 300kg constant load, and FS123LL for 500kg constant load.

It is advisable to pair these raised springs with long travel shock absorbers to optimize performance. Constant load refers to weight that is permanently added to the vehicle, such as fixed accessories like canopies, steel trays, draw systems, fridges, toolboxes, rear bars, or spare wheel carriers.
