    Product Info

Developed specifically for the rear suspension of Nissan Patrol GQ and GU models, the Superior Billet Series 7075-T6 Alloy Sway Bar Saddles are designed to improve sway bar durability, and long-term performance on vehicles used on-road and off-road. Over time, factory sway bar saddles can flex, wear, or distort, particularly on vehicles running suspension lifts, larger tyres, or carrying additional load. This can allow unwanted sway bar movement, leading to inconsistent handling, noise, and accelerated bush wear.

CNC machined from high-strength 7075-T6 billet aluminium and finished in a black anodised coating; these sway bar saddles offer significantly increased rigidity compared to factory pressed steel units. The billet construction maintains accurate sway bar positioning under load, helping the rear suspension work more consistently during cornering, towing, and off-road articulation.

Designed specifically to suit the rear sway bar on GQ and GU Patrols, these saddles provide a precise, bolt-on fit while improving resistance to corrosion and fatigue. The increased rigidity helps reduce sway bar deflection, delivering more predictable handling and improved control without compromising ride quality. Ideal for daily driving, touring, towing, and off-road use, these billet sway bar saddles are a practical upgrade for Patrol owners looking to improve rear suspension reliability and consistency.

At PPD Performance, all of our exhausts proudly feature:

    Mandrel Bent Piping

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

    304 Grade Stainless Steel

Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain

The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.

Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.

Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.

Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.

Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.

    Bolt on installation

All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
