    Product Info

Fitting remote reservoir shocks is one of the best upgrades you can make to a Patrol, but only if the reservoirs are mounted properly. This kit gives you a strong, purpose-built solution for keeping 2.0 and 2.5 shock reservoirs securely fixed to the front of your GQ or GU, so your suspension performs as it should on tough tracks or long touring days.

If you’re running bigger shocks, you’ll know the frustration of trying to cable-tie reservoirs to random spots or letting them rattle around in the bay. Not only does it look untidy, but it can also shorten the life of your shocks. These mounts take the hassle out of the install and give you a clean, professional setup that holds firm no matter how rough the conditions get.

Manufactured from 4mm 304 stainless steel and supplied raw, the brackets are built to handle mud, water crossings, and coastal environments without rusting or peeling. The bolt-on design makes them simple to fit, and the positioning keeps the reservoirs safe, out of the way of obstacles, while still easy to access for adjustments or servicing.

Make the most of your shock upgrade – fit your remote reservoirs with a bracket system that’s built to last.

At PPD Performance, all of our exhausts proudly feature:

    Mandrel Bent Piping

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

    304 Grade Stainless Steel

Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain

The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.

Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.

Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.

Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.

Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.

    Bolt on installation

All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
