    Product Info

Superior Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms suitable for Nissan Patrol GQ and GU are developed to correct rear axle geometry on lifted vehicles while delivering increased strength and adjustability over factory arms. Designed for serious touring and off-road use, these arms combine heavy-duty steel construction with CNC machined billet components to provide accurate pinion angle correction and long-term durability.

An ABS-equipped option is available, supplied with the Superior Billet Series ABS Line Relocation Kit (ALRK-A-UNVSL-B) to ensure correct routing and protection of ABS lines when upgrading to these adjustable arms.

Lifting a Patrol alters rear suspension geometry, often resulting in incorrect pinion angle, driveline vibration, and uneven bush wear. Factory arms are not designed to compensate for increased ride height or heavy loads, which can compromise handling and reliability. Adjustable rear upper control arms allow you to properly set pinion angle and rear axle position, restoring correct driveline alignment and improving overall suspension performance.

Manufactured using high-strength 20MnV6 steel, these arms are built to handle demanding off-road conditions. The steel sections are finished in SA5 zinc for corrosion resistance, while the billet aluminium components are anodised silver for durability and a clean, professional finish. Designed as a direct-fit upgrade for GQ and GU Patrol models, this pair delivers both strength and precise adjustment capability.

    Key Benefits

    • Adjustable design for accurate pinion angle correction
    • Heavy-duty 20MnV6 steel construction for extreme durability
    • Billet 6061-T6 aluminium components for precision and reduced weight
    • Zinc coated and anodised for long-term corrosion resistance
    • ABS option available with relocation kit included

    Important Notes

Whether you’re building a lifted tourer or a hard-working off-road Patrol, the Superior Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms provide the strength, adjustability, and reliability needed to keep your rear suspension geometry correct and your driveline running smoothly.

At PPD Performance, all of our exhausts proudly feature:

    Mandrel Bent Piping

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

    304 Grade Stainless Steel

Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain

The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.

Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.

Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.

Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.

Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.

    Bolt on installation

All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
