This kit is supplied with everything you need to convert your vehicle from leaves to coils except the coils and shocks, this allows you to run your own selection of coils or shocks.
It still includes all other required parts such as all brackets, mounts, control arms and sway bar as well.
The NCOP VSB pre-approval paperwork is also supplied, so you can legally have the Coil suspension fitted and approved on your vehicle.
The Coil Conversion kit utilises many original bolt locations to precisely place many of the brackets on the vehicle, allowing simple installation.

We have developed this kit to be easy to install with full instructions and have done all the hard work and testing as well as performing accredited lane change tests and the Design pre-approval under the VSB LS Codes.
This kit needs to be welded by a qualified boilermaker or welder (AS1554.1 certified) and fitted by a suitably qualified suspension fitter.
Once this coil conversion is fitted the vehicle must be produced at your local transport approved modification plate officer, they will inspect that the vehicle has the suspension fitted in accordance with the supplied instructions and is welded correctly and to an acceptable standard, original invoice will need to be provided for the coil kit at the time of inspection to prove it is a Superior Engineering kit. The inspector/ officer will then plate the vehicle with an LS6 approval code. As with all modification and aftermarket accessories, it is recommended to confirm all modifications in writing with your insurance company as some policies or providers may not accept such modifications although street legal.

NOTE: The welding of this kit must meet or exceed Australian Standard AS 1554 Structural steel
welding Category SP. In general, for approval purposes, this part needs to be welded by a qualified
welder who has performed and understands the correct welding procedure that is required.
For warranty reasons, when fitting a lift kit you should always fill out a "Fitment Form".

Consolidated freight allows PPD Performance to combine multiple orders onto a single pallet and transfer them together, reducing freight costs by sharing them across orders.

Bulky freight — over 30kg
This item is classified as over 30kg / oversized freight and can only be delivered to a commercial or business address with suitable unloading facilities. Deliveries to residential addresses may incur additional handling, depot-collection or redirection fees. Please contact PPD Performance if you are unsure whether your delivery address qualifies.
PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.
Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain
The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.
Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.
Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.
Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.
Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.
All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
