The best bang for buck on the GUN Hilux is an exhaust & tune. PPD is proud to provide a remote ECU tuning option for people wanting more performance but without the hassle of having to take the car to a workshop.

Works on both 2.8L 1GD-FTV and 2.4L 2GD-FTV powered Hilux's.

If you have removed the DPF or EGR from the car we can disable the activation of these in the ECU so there are no engine codes / limp mode issues.

PPD Performance Toyota Hilux (2015-2024) Performance Remapper

Package includes the following:

• PPD Remapping Software & Hardware
• Custom tune based off our dyno experience, optimised for towing, economy or power.
• EGR Functionality Disabled (if requested, for off road use only).
• DPF Functionality Disabled (if requested, for off road use only).

This Tuning Package includes everything needed to take the GUN Hilux from the standard 160hp at the wheels and 400Nm, to 200hp and 480Nm when combined with a DPF delete & exhaust. Alternatively the tune typically nets up to 185hp with the factory exhaust & DPF.

We've used our experience in modifying dozens of GUN Hilux's to develop tunes that suit each users application. Once the remapper unit is received you will be able to provide us with the ECU file from your car and request what type of tune you want.

These kits provide everything needed for the DIY enthusiast. Simply bolt on the exhaust and follow the instructions provided to load our tune (remap) into your car!

You will be able to advise us of your desired tuning requirements after receiving the remapper device.
