These leaf springs are precision mandrel and die-formed, oil quenched, hardened, and tempered to ensure longevity. A military wrap is standard across all part numbers, and each spring is accurately heat-treated to enhance performance. Constructed from high-grade spring steel, many applications feature anti-friction pads to reduce wear and improve efficiency.

Pre-stressed to maintain optimal ride height, these springs undergo rigorous load rate testing to ensure reliability. If your vehicle is equipped with additional accessories, Tough Dog offers various spring rates to accommodate constant load carrying requirements.

Approximate raised height ranges from 40-50mm, with specific models catering to different load capacities: T46C-LH and T46C-RH for light loads (0-300kg), T46L-LH and T46L-RH for constant loads (300kg), and BP-002-XHD for heavier constant loads (500kg). When selecting, ensure to pair left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) springs appropriately.

It is advisable to pair these raised springs with long travel shock absorbers for optimal performance. Constant load refers to weight that is permanently added to the vehicle, such as canopies, steel trays, draw systems, fridges, toolboxes, rear bars, or spare wheel carriers. Selecting the appropriate spring rate is crucial for achieving the best results in load carrying, ride quality, and ride height.
