The manufacturing process is meticulously designed to enhance durability, offering superior corrosion resistance and sag prevention. Tough Dog provides a selection of up to three spring rate options for most applications, allowing for tailored performance based on your vehicle's specific setup.

These leaf springs are precision mandrel and die-formed, oil quenched, hardened, and tempered to guarantee longevity. A military wrap is standard across all part numbers, ensuring added strength and reliability. Each spring is accurately heat-treated and crafted from high-grade spring steel, with anti-friction pads included in most applications to reduce wear.

Pre-stressing the springs helps maintain optimal ride height, while diamond cut ends enhance performance. For vehicles equipped with additional accessories, Tough Dog offers various spring rates to accommodate constant load carrying requirements.

Approximate raised height ranges from 40-50mm, with specific models designed for different load capacities: T79C-LH and T79C-RH for light loads (0-300kg), T79L-LH and T79L-RH for constant loads (300kg), and T79LL-LH and T79LL-RH for heavier constant loads (500kg). When selecting, ensure to choose one of each side (LH and RH) to create a complete pair.

It is advisable to pair these raised springs with long travel shock absorbers for optimal performance. Constant load refers to weight that is permanently added to the vehicle, such as fixed accessories like canopies, steel trays, draw systems, fridges, tool boxes, rear bars, or spare wheel carriers.
