Designed and manufactured in Australia using high-quality German X5K spring steel, Tough Dog coils are engineered to utilize less material while delivering exceptional ride quality and load-carrying capabilities. These springs maintain their original memory even under heavy loads, resulting in a lighter and more durable coil that can withstand rigorous demands.

Each coil undergoes a meticulous process, including shot peening to relieve stress, scragging, and load testing to ensure reliability. Formed on precision mandrels and hot formed to preserve spring memory, these coils are finished with a powder coating that enhances both aesthetics and corrosion resistance.

Equipped with accessories? Tough Dog provides a variety of spring rates tailored to accommodate additional accessories or constant load carrying. Constant Load refers to weight that is permanently added to the vehicle, such as canopies, steel trays, draw systems, fridges, toolboxes, rear bars, or spare wheel carriers. Selecting the appropriate spring option is crucial for optimizing vehicle setup and load management.

Approximate Lift Heights are as follows: 100mm for TDC949/4 (0-300kg Light Load) and TDC949/4H (300kg Constant Load), 125mm for TDC949/5 (0-300kg Light Load) and TDC949/5H (300kg Constant Load), and 150mm for TDC949/6 (0-300kg Light Load) and TDC949/6H (300kg Constant Load). It is advisable to pair these raised springs with long travel shock absorbers for optimal performance.
