Designed specifically for Toyota LandCruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series models, these Gen 2 soft shackle towing points provide a strong, reliable attachment point for controlled vehicle towing when factory options fall short; manufactured from 20mm mild steel and finished in a durable red powdercoat, they are built to handle the demands of commercial, touring and off-road use.
Factory tow points on many 70 Series LandCruisers are limited in strength. These Gen 2 soft shackle towing points are manufactured to offer improved strength, visibility and confidence when the vehicle needs to be towed in challenging conditions.
When towing a disabled vehicle, strength and load distribution matter. Weak or poorly positioned tow points can bend, fail or cause damage to the chassis or surrounding components. Upgrading to dedicated towing points reduces risk during towing operations and provides a more secure, predictable connection point for straps or bridles.
CNC laser-cut from 20mm mild steel, these towing points are designed to bolt directly to the vehicle using factory mounting locations, ensuring correct alignment and load transfer. The bright red powdercoat finish improves visibility during use and offers corrosion resistance for long-term durability in harsh environments.

These towing points are rated for a maximum Working Load Limit (WLL) of 5000 kg and are designed for controlled vehicle towing only. Use beyond the WLL may result in component failure, vehicle damage, serious injury, or death.
Only use rated straps, bridles, or towing equipment suitable for the vehicle’s mass. Regularly inspect for signs of damage, deformation, cracking, corrosion, or loose fasteners. Remove from service immediately if damage or wear is detected.
