    Product Info

Developed for serious touring, off-road, and heavy-duty utility work, these adjustable rear upper control arms are a high-end upgrade for coil-converted Toyota LandCruiser 76 and 79 Series builds (09/1999–current) and compatible Outback Tourer variants.

Each control arm is CNC machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminium, a material renowned for its outstanding strength-to-weight ratio and exceptional durability under extreme load and flex. The silver anodised finish offers lasting corrosion protection while showcasing an immaculate, professional look under your vehicle.

The design features fully adjustable lengths, allowing installers to precisely set pinion angle and diff alignment, essential after major suspension modifications such as coil conversions or lift kits. This adjustability helps maintain correct driveline geometry, helping reduce wear, vibration, and handling issues, especially on tough Australian outback roads.

    Key Benefits

    • Tailored fit for LandCruiser 76 / 79 Series coil rear conversions (09/1999–current) and Outback Tourer models.
    • CNC machined from solid 7075-T6 billet aluminium for strength, precision, and light weight.
    • Silver anodised surface for robust protection against rust and corrosion.
    • Easy on-car adjustability for fine-tuning pinion angle and rear differential positioning.
    • Reduces driveline vibration and stress following lift or suspension changes.

    Important Notes

Ideal for anyone building a heavy-touring LandCruiser or seeking the peace of mind that comes with a purpose-built, locally developed suspension solution.

At PPD Performance, all of our exhausts proudly feature:

    Mandrel Bent Piping

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

    304 Grade Stainless Steel

Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain

The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.

Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.

Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.

Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.

Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.

    Bolt on installation

All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
