The Australian-made Superior Engineering Speedo Corrector is designed for Toyota LandCruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series vehicles manufactured from 2016 through to September 2022. It provides a plug-and-play solution for correcting the vehicle’s speedometer after fitting larger tyres or changing the final-drive ratio.
The unit installs without cutting, splicing, soldering or permanently modifying the vehicle’s factory wiring loom.
Programming Requirement: Due to the vehicle configuration and limited CAN bus connectivity in applicable 2016–September 2022 models, this version is not adjustable by the end user. The unit must be programmed by Superior Engineering before it is dispatched. Customers must provide all requested vehicle and calibration information when ordering.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain
The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.
Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.
Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.
Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.
Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.
All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
