Product Info
Protect the front differential on your Toyota LandCruiser 76, 78, or 79 Series (11/2016 onwards) with this Gen-2 weld-on low profile diff guard, designed for vehicles that see hard use on rough Australian tracks. The factory diff housing sits low and exposed, making it highly vulnerable to rock strikes, ledges, and washouts.
Manufactured from 5 mm 350GR mild steel, the Gen-2 weld-on design provides a permanent, ultra-secure solution that absorbs direct impacts and deflects obstacles. The upgraded design also adds extra clearance between the diff housing and panhard rod, allowing aftermarket panhard rods with larger locking nuts to fit without interference, while still providing maximum protection for the differential housing and crown wheel.
This Gen-2 design is ideal for drivers tackling rocky climbs, rutted fire trails, station tracks, or heavy touring loads where diff strikes are common. A damaged front diff can end a trip instantly and lead to costly repairs or recovery. Fitting a dedicated diff guard is cheap insurance that keeps your LandCruiser moving forward, even when conditions get rough. Supplied in a raw finish, it is ready for welding and optional coating to suit your build.
