The Australian-made Superior Engineering CAN Bus Speedo Corrector is designed for Toyota LandCruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series vehicles manufactured from October 2022 onwards. It provides a straightforward way to recalibrate the vehicle’s speedometer after fitting larger tyres or changing the final-drive ratio.
The unit connects directly to the vehicle’s factory CAN bus system and features a plug-and-play installation. No cutting, splicing, soldering or permanent modifications to the factory wiring loom are required.
Calibration can be adjusted using simple vehicle inputs through the indicator stalk, headlights or hazard switch. No laptop, mobile application, external programmer or specialist calibration tool is required.
Unlike fixed-calibration devices, the Superior Engineering Speedo Corrector allows the calibration to be adjusted whenever the vehicle’s tyre size or differential ratio changes. This provides a tidy and reversible solution that gives the user greater control over speedometer calibration.

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain
The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.
Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.
Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.
Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.
Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.
All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
