Superior Billet Series 7075-T6 Alloy Damper Bracket Chassis Mount suitable for Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series Single Cab (11/2016 on) is manufactured to provide a secure and high-strength chassis mounting solution for suspension damper setups; CNC machined from premium 7075-T6 billet aluminium and finished in gold anodising for durability and corrosion resistance. It is designed specifically for the 79 Series Single Cab platform, which kit delivers accurate fitment and reliable support.
Heavy duty suspension can place an increased load on chassis mounting points, particularly in vehicles used for heavy touring, towing, or hard off-road driving. Factory mounts are not typically designed to handle upgraded steering dampers or extreme articulation. The Superior billet chassis mount provides the strength and durability required to support aftermarket suspension setups while maintaining correct alignment and load distribution.
CNC machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminium, this bracket offers significantly higher tensile strength, making it ideal for critical load-bearing components. The machining process guarantees consistent tolerances and clean installation, while the anodised gold coating promotes surface hardness and corrosion resistance in harsh environments.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain
The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.
Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.
Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.
Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.
Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.
All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
