Description
When raising your vehicle by more than 2 inches, it's important to use an adjustable panhard rod to ensure proper alignment. Superior Engineering's panhard rods can be precisely adjusted to position the axle directly beneath the chassis. They are fitted with genuine bushes where possible and are CNC machined from 32mm OD High Tensile Bar. The rods include 1-1/4 UNF fine thread double lock nuts for secure fastening, have 150mm of thread, and are coated with a durable, corrosion-resistant zinc coating.
Superior Engineering uses the patented ITS Seal Technology on the internal thread to ensure rust does not form internally in the adjustable boss with a specially machined seal groove and incorporating a hydraulic seal between the locking nuts, the thread, and the link. This patented process (PN-2015101600) is exclusive to Superior Engineering’s internally threaded products, including tie-Rods, draglinks, panhard rods, and upper and lower control arms.
32mm High Tensile Bar

Exclusive to Superior Engineering, this patented process (PN-2015101600) significantly enhances the longevity and reliability of our internally threaded products, including tierods, draglinks, panhard rods and control arms.
Genuine OE Bushes

Double Locking Nuts

Rubber Bush Warranty Facts
Where possible Superior Engineering uses Genuine Original Equipment (OE) bushes in our suspension components. If for any reasonable circumstance Genuine OE bushes cannot be sourced from Australian suppliers, we will endeavor to supply Superior Engineering Bushes of equivalent quality.
Vehicle manufacturers such as Nissan Australia and Toyota Australia’s warranty policy clearly states ‘that no bush will be covered under warranty when installed in an “aftermarket” suspension component - or fitted in any “lifted” vehicle’.
Superior Engineering is now offering: a 3 month warranty on Genuine OE Bushes and Superior Engineering Rubber Bushes that are supplied and fitted to our suspension components such as Radius arms, Panhards and rear control arms. Superior Engineering Rubber bushes are 100% made in Australia and after years of testing have continually proven to outlast Genuine OE bushes.
Please note: Superior engineering products may be supplied with either style bushings, which is purely dependent on the availability from manufacturers and may vary across batches. The Warranties are applicable on all associated components and will be valid from date of initial purchase. The warranty applies to bush failure from manufacturing defects; however it does not cover abuse or over flexing of rubber bushes outside what would be considered common use.

Consolidated freight allows PPD Performance to combine multiple orders onto a single pallet and transfer them together, reducing freight costs by sharing them across orders.

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.
Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain
The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.
Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.
Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.
Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.
Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.
All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
