Crossbar Rubber Inserts Crossbar rubber inserts or infill strips fit into the top channel of the cross bars on all Wedgetail roof racks. The rubber inserts sit above the top of the cross bar and provide a soft surface to protect items that are stored on the roof rack and also prevent items moving around. The inserts are available in a range of sizes to fit all of our roof racks. They are fitted by pushing the inserts into the support channels. The lengths correspond with the appropriate crossbar and must be trimmed to length.
