3" Stainless Steel Performance Exhaust Upgrade for 2011- 2020 Mazda BT-50 3.2L Turbo Diesel

Replace the restrictive Mazda BT-50 factory exhaust system with this brand new PPD Performance Polished Stainless Steel unit.

Specifically designed for the Mazda BT-50 Ute 3.2L Turbo Diesel (2011- 2020), this 3" stainless system upgrades the performance and sound that they should have had from the factory!

Seawater corrosion holes in mild-steel exhausts are a thing of the past now!

Similar systems sell for three times the price!

    Turboback Specifications:

    • Industry leading premium 304-grade 1.5mm thick stainless steel piping.
    • 1/8 NPT EGT port included on dump pipe.
    • 2 bolt connecting flanges for easy bolt-on installation.
    • Turbo dump pipe internally welded for highest gas flow.
    • TIG welded & mandrel bent.
    • Bolts & premium "Fire Ring" gaskets included.
    • Heavy duty hangers with dual attachment points on the exhaust for increased durability.

High-flow 200-cell catalytic converter versions available, please select this as an option if required.

In October 2016, Mazda added a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to the BT-50. These are prone to failure and significantly restrict performance.

FOR THESE CARS (2016+) THESE SYSTEMS DELETE THE DPF.

AN ECU REMAP IS REQUIRED WHEN DELETING YOUR DPF.

Disclaimer: Note: DPF removal components are designed for off-road use only. Please consider this before purchasing and installing

    Which version do I need?

    Catalytic Converter

    • This is an emissions device which is required for road legality.
    • High Flow: Required for road legality, marginally quieter than the non-catted systems, but less soot / emissions and still an aggressive note. Recommended.
    • None: For off road use only. Our highest performing exhaust which is a complete 3" straight-through setup.

These are a proven design producing fantastic gains on the Mazda BT-50 3.2L Turbo Diesel 2011-2020.

Add a tune for even more power:

While it's not a requirement for this exhaust system, nothing achieves better bang-for-buck than tuning your car to suit your new 3" stainless PPD exhaust!

The PPD Performance Remapper is the most convenient remote custom tuning solution on the market.

Using the Remapper we can provide you with a tune which will increase the boost and fueling to take advantage of the extra airflow provided by your new exhaust system. This provides HUGE performance benefits on turbo diesels!

At PPD Performance, all of our exhausts proudly feature:

    Mandrel Bent Piping

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

    304 Grade Stainless Steel

Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain

The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.

Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.

Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.

Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.

Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.

    Bold on installation

All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
