4x4 Throttle Controllers
Investing in one of our 4x4 throttle controllers can be key to improving your vehicle's performance. At PPD Performance we have a wide range of 4x4 throttle controllers for various 4WD makes and models.
The throttle controller changes how the Engine Control Unit reads the data from the accelerator pedal, and the speed at which throttle input applies to the engine.
Our 4x4 throttle controllers have four driving modes. You can choose the right setting that suits the specific driving conditions.
Advantages of Our 4x4 Throttle Controllers
There are many reasons why you should consider installing an aftermarket throttle controller. Here are some of them:
- Towing heavy loads – An aftermarket throttle controller can make it easier to pull a heavy load and help the vehicle move faster. Our 4x4 throttle controllers are designed to improve acceleration even when towing heavy loads.
- Better acceleration – The controller removes the throttle lag. Depending on the setting you choose, the acceleration boost can adapt to the environment. For instance, the economy mode is ideal for rough terrains. Also, you can use the economy mode on beaches to avoid sinking into the sand.
Do You Need an Aftermarket Throttle Controller?
