3" Stainless Steel Turbo-Back Exhaust – Holden Colorado RC 3.0L Turbo Diesel (2008–08/2010)

Upgrade your early model RC Colorado with this high-performance PPD Performance 3" stainless turbo-back exhaust system. Designed for the Series 1 Holden Colorado RC 3.0L Turbo Diesel (2008–08/2010), this system increases flow, torque, and engine note while eliminating common rust problems found in mild-steel systems.

This Holden Colorado Exhaust is engineered from 304-grade stainless steel for long-lasting durability — perfect for tough Aussie conditions. Enjoy the aggressive tone and real-world performance gains of a system normally priced much higher.

    Turboback Specifications:

    • 3" polished 304-grade stainless steel – 1.5mm thick piping
    • 1/8 NPT EGT port on dump pipe (for gauge or tuning)
    • Internally welded turbo dump pipe for maximum gas flow
    • Mandrel bent & TIG welded for precision and strength
    • 2-bolt connecting flanges for bolt-on installation
    • Heavy-duty dual point hangers for extra support
    • Includes bolts and premium Fire Ring gaskets

This is a proven system that delivers real results in throttle response, torque, and exhaust tone — one of the best-value Holden Stainless Exhaust upgrades available for early RC Colorado utes.

NOTE: If your RC Colorado was built after 08/2010, you'll need the updated version of this system here:

At PPD Performance, all of our exhausts proudly feature:

    Mandrel Bent Piping

PPD Performance exhausts comprise of mandrel bent, stainless pipe work, delivering uncompromising flow, performance, and sound. Mandrel bending involves placing a mandrel inside the piping, before it is bent to shape. In comparison; cheaper press bending from other manufacturers squashes the tube as it is bent, reducing flow.

    304 Grade Stainless Steel

Tired of your mild steel exhaust systems rusting out after a year or less? Time to shop for a stainless steel system? There’s still some things you need to be aware of. Our competitors typically advertise their exhaust products as stainless steel. Most don't stipulate the differences between ferretic 409 grade stainless steel and austenitic 304 stainless steel.

Significant differences exist between the metals that make one better for performance exhaust applications than the other. Let us explain

The corrosion resistance of your 4x4 exhaust depends on the content of chromium and nickel found in the alloy. 409 grade stainless steel is used by many manufactures due to its medium strength, formability and very low cost. Typically, 409 grade stainless steel has a chromium content of between 10.50% - 11.75% and a nickel content of less 0.50%.

Why do we use 304 grade stainless steel piping for 4x4 performance exhausts? Because it is more resistant to rusting than ferretic based stainless steels such as 409. However, because of its low ferrous content, 304 can develop a golden colour when exposed to high heat over time. In fact, the ferrous metal content is so low that magnets won’t stick to it, making the identification of 409 and 304 grade stainless steel very easy.

Put simply, 304 grade stainless is the best value material used in the 4x4 exhaust game when strength, corrosion resistance and performance are at the top of your list of priorities.

Type 304 steel is engineered with chromium and nickel content and proves to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.

Together with a polished finish - it is a great choice for your 4x4 offering excellent corrosion resistance from exhaust emissions, moisture and beach exposure.

    Bolt on installation

All PPD Performance exhausts are designed to follow the same orientation and layout as the factory exhaust, making for easy bolt on installations. Our systems utilise the standard hanger locations, which means you don't have to use anything other than the factory rubbers.
